In the last years, wpd has had international success in the realisation of projects. Besides developing own projects, we set our focus – just like in Germany – on the purchase of completely developed projects as well as on co-operations with other project developers.

For the purchase, our experienced engineers review the technical feasibility of the projects. Based on our long-term business connections as a major customer for wind turbines, our expertise in the structuring of the necessary wind farm infrastructure as well as project financing, our commercial experts are able to set up a business plan on short notice. Thus we are able to supply the project developer with a speedy feedback and to offer professional implementation of the projects. Our main target here lies on approved projects just before start of construction.

In co-operations, we get involved with our good contacts to manufacturers and banks and with our know how in technology and financing. Project planers appreciate a targeted project development for speedy implementation of their projects which we make possible with our expertise in the market and our resources. In turn, wpd knows of the importance of the presence and credibility of our partners on site for the success of the project. We offer our partners custom-made co-operations, which accommodate the capabilities and resources of both sides.
