Sweden
Sweden is large, sparsely populated and offers good wind conditions on its long coast as well as hills in the country’s interior. There is a clear political will for more wind power. In contrast to Germany however, no feed-in law exists in Sweden but remuneration is based on the electricity price and ‘green’ certificates instead.
Our branch office in Stockholm is focussing on its own green field development. Land lease agreements for more than 400 MW have been signed. One project is under construction, two projects with 6.0 MW, 4.6 MW or 33 MW have been approved. The project market is being surveyed in parallel with the green field development, in order to take over and construct interesting projects.
