The German market is a key market for the wpd group. We have set up a close and reliable network during the past 16 years. Our many years of trustful business relationships as a major customer for suppliers, especially manufacturers of equipment, suppliers of the electrical infrastructure and banks, enable us to implement projects as quickly as possible. The wpd group has a background in the financing business. We have grown because of public wind farms and public funds. We have implemented most of the projects jointly with small and medium-sized project developers and engineering practices, which generally have a regional connection. Many years of experience with financing and structuring have optimally supplemented the planning know-how in this case. We are not only looking for non-recurring (‘one-off’) business but also to continue implementing the projects with many planners in Germany.

Besides that, we contribute to all stages of a project ranging from the land lease agreements to the start and finish of the permit approval process. We arrange risk capital and we support our partners with the planning. Difficult permit approval processes are our speciality. We take over the turn-key infrastructure or implement it ourselves. We already have the wind turbines available when receiving the final permit approval and the financing is also ready for utilisation. We ensure the quickest possible implementation of the project as a result.

All sizes of wind farms from the individual turbines to the largest wind farms are of interest to us.
