Functioning and target-oriented operating management is an important factor for the success of a project. wpd windmanager attends directly and indirectly to more than 1,000 wind farms altogether, which have the most diverse manufacturers and classes of output. We accompany the work on the wind turbines together with various external, technical operating managers, or we also implement this work ourselves. The operating management’s task is to inspect the wind turbine constantly, to coordinate and supervise the work of maintenance and upkeep, as well as to find possibilities for optimisation.

The work of the technical operating manager (i.e., farm manager) is supervised and coordinated by wpd windmanager’s internal technical controlling department. Information is compiled by it, from which all the project companies profit. The insurance of the wind turbines is also ensured by wpd windmanager’s technical controlling department. This work also includes dealing with arising damages that must be settled by the insurance, in addition to ensuring that the insurance against mechanical failure and operating interruptions provides optimum coverage.  

We ensure the supervision of wind turbines by using the Rotorsoft software, which enables us to manage a diverse range of wind turbines and manufacturers via a control panel. This software, which is continuously being developed, is also used by the technical operating management. Optimal technical operating management of the wind farm is ensured by the professional cooperation of operating managers, manufacturers of equipment, service companies, insurance companies and the wpd group’s technical controlling department. Our strengths in the market allow us to achieve perfect cooperation and optimised results for the operating companies.
